Audrey Youngblom

Audrey Faye Youngblom, age 79 of Litchfield, MN died on Tuesday, February 20, 2024 at Meeker Memorial Hospital, in Litchfield, MN.  A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, February 24, 2024 at First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Cosmos, MN.  A visitation will be held two hours prior. Interment will be held at First Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery.

Audrey Faye Youngblom the daughter of Verne and Freda (Anderson) Carlson was born on November 6, 1944. She was baptized and confirmed at Beckville Lutheran Church in Litchfield. Audrey graduated from Litchfield High school in 1962, and was united in marriage to Warren Youngblom on November 24, 1962 at Beckville Lutheran Church.  Audrey was a farm wife, and worked as a Para professional at the Cosmos public school.  She belonged to the Hobby club, WELCA, Snowmobile Club, and the card club.  Audrey enjoyed baking, canning, crocheting, sewing-especially quilting for the family, gardening flowers and vegetables and painting. 

Audrey is survived by her husband Warren of Litchfield; children Wayne (Becky) Youngblom of Litchfield, MN, Robin Wall of Grove City, MN, Andrea (Dave) Dallmann of Litchfield, MN, Ward (Beth) Youngblom of Yankton, SD; 12 Grandchildren, and 11 Great-Grandchildren.  She is also survived by her siblings Gale (Candance) Carlson of Lake City, MN, Bette Johnson of Silver Lake, MN, Verdella Anderson of Watertown SD, Henry Ewald of Darwin, MN, Gordon Schmeiser of Scottsdale, AZ, sisters-in-law Deanna Albrecht, and Janelle (Steve) Fuchs.  

She is preceded in death by her parents Verne and Freda, in-laws Wes and Clara Youngblom, siblings; Shirley Schmeiser, Evertt Carlson, Rosaline Ewald, and Joyce Carlson. In-laws; Stan and Geraldine Scieszka, Dean Anderson, Ted Albrecht, Margie Carlson, and Lester Johnson.
