Arlene Marion Ross

Arlene M. Ross, age 85, of Litchfield died on Wednesday, December 25, 2013, at the Meeker Memorial Hospital in Litchfield. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, January 3, 2014, at Cornerstone Church in Litchfield. Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Thursday, January 2, 2014, at the Johnson-Hagglund Funeral Home and will continue one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be in the Lake Ripley Cemetery. Arlene Marion Ross, the daughter of Pete and Nellie (Draxton) Bisser, was born on August 24, 1928, near Grove City, Minnesota. On June 21, 1947, she was united in marriage to Clinton Ross in Grove City. Arlene worked for over 30 years at Litchfield Produce. She also worked at the Traveler's Café, Colonial Coffee Shop and in the early 1950's she worked at the Ice Cream Plant. She and Clint enjoyed camping and where members of the Eagles. She enjoyed taking drives in the country to look at the wild life, dancing, ""old time' music and flower gardening. Arlene loved to ride her bike and visit with everyone she saw greeting them with a cheerful ""Hello Kiddo!"" or "" Hey Kid!"" She is survived by her children, Barbara Ross and David Ross, grandson, Todd Ross all of Litchfield.
