Ardelle M. Bergquist

Ardelle M. Bergquist, 94, of Litchfield died Friday, May 31, at BridgeWater Assisted Living in Hanover. Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, June 10, at Zion Lutheran Church in Litchfield. Visitation will be one hour before the service starting at 9:30 AM. Interment will be at Arndahl Cemetery, Litchfield. Ardelle Marjorie Bergquist, daughter of Anton and Laura (Tilda) Nelson, was born in Rosendale April 22, 1925. She received her education at Grove City High School and was united in marriage to Reuben Bergquist at Arndahl Lutheran Church March 24, 1946. Ardelle was a member of Arndahl Lutheran Church where she was the Sunday school superintendent. She loved to sing, play piano, paint, carve wood, make Scandinavian crafts and spend time with her family. Ardelle is survived by her children, Judy (Fritz) Brown of Edina and Kevin (Judy) Bergquist of Buffalo; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Anton and Laura; husband Reuben; brothers, Obert and Glenn; and twin sister Ardis Merry.
