Anna Marie Topp

Anna Marie Topp, passed away August 1, 2014 at the age of 78 in St. Cloud Hospital. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, August 4, 2014 at 10:30 AM at the Church of Our Lady in Manannah. Visitation will be held at the Church on Sunday, August 3rd from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM with a parish prayer service at 7:00 PM. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service on Monday. A private family interment will be in the Our Lady Cemetery at a later date. Anna was born October 3, 1935 in Eden Valley, Minnesota to Cornelius and Helen (Brummer) Sullivan. Anna married Dewaine Topp on November 30, 1957 in Eden Valley, Minnesota. She attended the country school in Manannah Township and later went to the Eden Valley school. Anna worked at Finger Hut and as a homemaker. She was a member of the Church of Our Lady in Manannah and a member of the Willmar American Legion . Anna loved Polka music, playing bingo, fishing, gardening, baking, having tea with sour cream raisin bars, trips up North and going to the Pizza Ranch. She enjoyed music gatherings and other activities at the Hilltop Care Center where she lived. Anna had a great sense of humor and a way of looking at life. Anna loved the visits she had with her grandkids and great-grandkids. She is survived by her daughter Deanna Johnson and Jim Anderson of Paynesville, MN Dennis Topp of Baudette, MN, Grandkids: Stephanie and (Michael) Kaufman of Paynesville, Steven and (Angela) Johnson of Paynesville, Richard Johnson of Paynesville, Great-Grandkids: Kailey, Ethan, Augustus, Sylvia and Susie all of Paynesville, Sister Margaret Wendroth of Watkins, Brother Tom Sullivan of Foley and many nieces and nephews. Anna was preceded in death by her parents, husband Dewaine, brothers Henry and George Sullivan, infant brother, sister Mary Ackerman and Johanna Becker.
