Anna Anderson

Anna Mae Anderson, age 74, of Litchfield, died on Sunday, December 28, 2008 at the Emmanuel Home in Litchfield. Memorial service will be held on Sunday, January 18, 2009 at 2:00 PM at Augustana Memorial Chapel with Pastor John Peterson officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at Augustana Memorial Chapel. Anna Mae Anderson the daughter of Harvey and Pearlie (Swinney) Barron was born on December 3, 1934 in Rockcastle County, Kentucky. She was united in marriage to Wilmer Anderson on March 30, 1953 in Broadhead, Kentucky. They made their home one mile east of Beckville where they engaged in farming. She will be fondly remembered as a wonderful wife and mother and for the days spent with the boys at home. They were blessed with two sons, Owen and Leo. Following her retirement she enjoyed interior decorating. Anna had a wonderful talent of painting, wall papering and refinishing cabinets and furniture. Anna is survived by her sons, Owen Anderson of Litchfield and Leo Anderson of Arden Hills, brothers, Daniel (Losie) Barron, Ervin (Fanny) Barron and Fred (Mamie) Barron, sister, Flossie (Andrew) McFerron all of Broadhead, Kentucky. She is also survived by her special nieces, Hellen (Carl) Doan of Mount Vernon, Kentucky and JoAnn (Charles) Lindstrom of Litchfield and special friend Bob Kadelbach of Litchfield. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and several brothers and sisters.
